ALF Level 1 Certification Mini-Residency Course. McLean, VA. Two (DO/MD) 3-day weekends Apr 13-15 and Aug 17-19 2018. Learn the requirements of using ALF in practice, including guided practice with case study patients from dental practices. The ALF Mini Residency program is an intense training program teaching osteopaths, dentists, and myofunctional therapists about the team approach to treating with functional appliance dental therapy, specifically using the Advanced Lightwire Functional (ALF) appliance. Where feasible, the osteopaths will be paired with practicing dentists to treat their case study patients in a live setting.
