
Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Dr. LeeAnn Cuny earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. She received her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Midwestern University – Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (MWU-CCOM) in 2008. Dr. Cuny did her graduate medical training in Neuromuscular Medicine at Southampton Hospital in Southampton, New York. She has Board Certifications in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine / Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Integrative Medicine.
In addition to studying osteopathic manipulative medicine, Dr. Cuny has special interests in the interaction between environment, genetics, nutrition, and trauma history. She has done coursework in clinical homeopathy, bioidentical hormone replacement, and use of the alternative lightwire functional (ALF) dental appliance.
In addition to seeing patients at Seek Optimal Health, she has worked part-time teaching osteopathic medical students at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2012. When she is not working, Dr. Cuny enjoys spending time with her family, working in the garden, and planning healthy meals for her family.
